Welcome to Lorenzo Eventing at Frosted Moon Farm. Lorenzo Eventing was founded by head trainer, Karen Lorenzo, in order to provide positive and goal-oriented training to riders and horses of all levels and backgrounds. Lorenzo Eventing offers boarding, training for adults and young riders in both Eventing and Dressage. Lesson horses available and riders are welcome to trailer in their own horses.

I’m an adult returning to riding and I feel so fortunate to have found Karen! When we started working with her 3 years ago, my horse was pretty green under saddle and we were both brand new to eventing. We had a lot of work to do, and Karen has always been able to give me honest and thorough feedback while still keeping it positive and fun. I enjoy competing, and Karen has helped me at various events, both riding my horse and coaching me, depending on our needs at the time. I especially appreciate that, rather than simply fixing problems for me, she gives me the skills that I need to be independent and fix things myself. I’m now confidently able to bring my horse to USEA recognized events, which is a big change from when we started! I’m so excited to continue training with Karen and move to Frosted Moon Farm!

I started riding with Karen five years ago and cannot express how wonderful she is and how my horse thrived under her training and care. Her coaching style is always positive and encouraging, and she carefully tailors each rider’s experience to his or her specific needs and goals. I’m a very timid rider, and Karen goes above and beyond to help me feel safe and confident. My husband is a more confident rider looking to move up the levels, and Karen helped him progress rapidly. When I relocated to the West Coast, I left my precious horse in her care for three years only because I couldn’t bear to leave her program. She turned my retired jumper into a third-level dressage horse, all the while ensuring that the training was fun and interesting for him, and keeping him sound, happy, healthy, and fit! I feel that she truly loves and cares for my horse as much as she does her own horse.
